Right form of Verbs

Right form of Verbs  : 

Rule  1  :   Sentence এ  tomorrow,  next day,   next week, next month, next year ইত্যাদির যে কোন একটি থাকলে তা , Future Indefinite Tense এর গঠনে করতে হবে । 

যেমন --
1.  He -- ( Come)  tomorrow.
    Ans :  He will come tomorrow.


Rule 2 :    Sentence  এ  It is time / It is high time / Wish / Fancy ইত্যাদির যে কোন একটি থাকলে তা ,  Past Indefinite Tense এর গঠনে করতে হবে । 


যেমন -- 
1.  It is high time he -- (change) his habit.
Ans :  It is high time he changed his habit.



Rule 3  :     (a)  While + he  +  Verb  এই   গঠনের  Sentence এর ক্ষেত্রে 

Past continuous Tense এর গঠনে করতে হবে । 

যেমন -- 

1.  While he -- (walk ) in the garden, he saw a snake.
 Ans :  While he was walking in the garden, he saw a snake.

             

              

    (b)  While +  Verb   এই   গঠনের  Sentence এর ক্ষেত্রে শুধুমাত্র  ব্র্যাকেটের  Verb টির সাথে  ing  যোগ করতে হয় ।


যেমন --  

1.  While -- (walk ) in the garden, he saw a snake.
Ans :  While walking in the garden, he saw a snake.




Rule 4 :      (a)     As if / As though (যেন)  যুক্ত   Sentence  এর  ক্ষেত্রে 
যদি ব্রাকেটে যদি  to be   verb  লিখা থাকে তবে,  were বসাতে হবে ।


যেমন --   1.   He talks as if / as though he -- (to be) a mad.
            Ans :  He talks as if / as though he were a mad.



             


     (b)   As if / As though (যেন)  যুক্ত   Sentence  এর  ক্ষেত্রে 
 ব্রাকেটে যদি   principal  verb থাকে তবে , 
১ম  Sentence   টি  Present Indefinite Tense এর হলে,  ২য় Sentence    টি  Past Indefinite Tense এর গঠনে  করতে হবে । 

আর ১ম  Sentence   টি  Past Indefinite Tense এর হলে,  ২য় Sentence    টি  Past Perfect tense এর গঠনে  করতে হবে ।  

যেমন --  1.  He talks as if / as though he -- ( know) all.
Ans :  He    talks    as if /   as  though    he    knew    all. 
            present Indefinite                         Past Indefinite


2.  He   talked  as if / as though he (know) all.
Ans :  He talked  as if / as  though  he  had  known  all. 
            Past Ind                                   Past Perfect




Rule 5  :   Since  যুক্ত   Sentence  এর  ক্ষেত্রে ---

(a)  Sentence  এর   মাঝে  Since থাকলে,  ১ম  Sentence   টি  Present Indefinite Tense   অথবা  Present Perfect tense এর হলে, ২য় Sentence    টি Past Indefinite Tense এর গঠনে  করতে হবে ।  

যেমন -- 

1.  It is many   years   since I --  (see)  him. 
Ans : It is  many   years   since   I   saw   him.
         Present Ind                          Past Ind

2.  Many years have passed  since  I -- (see)  him. 
Ans :  Many years have passed   since     I saw   him.
                        Present perfect              Past Ind



(b)  Sentence  এর   মাঝে  Since থাকলে,  ১ম  Sentence   টি   Past Indefinite Tense এর হলে,  ২য় Sentence    টি  Past Perfect Tense এর গঠনে  করতে হবে ।  



যেমন --  

1.   It was many years  since  I -- (see)   him.
Ans : It  was  many  years  since I   had  seen   him.
         Past Ind                                 Past perfect


2.  Many   years  passed  since  I -- (see)  him. 
Ans ; Many years passed   since  I had   seen  him. 
                          Past Ind                 Past perfect
