আসলে detached sentence এর Narration আর
Passage Narration এর নিয়ম আলাদা কিছু নয়। এক্ষেত্রে নিচের বিষয়গুলো জানা জরুরী ।
Reported Speech এ yes থাকলে ---
Indirect করার সময় replied in the affirmative বসাতে হবে ।
Reported Speech এ no থাকলে ---
Indirect করার সময় replied in the negative বসাতে হবে ।
নিচের উদাহরন গুলো লক্ষ্য করা যাক ।
1. Direct : " Did you go to school yesterday ? " father said to his son. " "Yes ," said his son.
Indirect : Father asked his son if he (S) had gone to school the previous day. His son replied in the affirmative.
2. Direct : "Did you go to school yesterday ? " father said to his son . "No ," said his son.
Indirect : Father asked his son if he (S) had gone to school the previous day. His son replied in the negative.
