(2) Satisfied with
(3) filled with
(4) Seized with
(5) Covered with
(6) Displeased with
(7) Annoyed with
2. At : (1) Marvelled at
(2) Shocked at
3. In : (1) Interested in
(2) Contained in
4. To (1) known to.
তবে Subject এ যদি behaviour / Conduct / Work ইত্যাদি থাকে তবে যে Verb থাকুক না কেন তার সাথে At দিতে হবে।
Example : 1. Ac : He pleased me.
Pass : I was pleased with him.
2. Ac : Smoke filled the room.
Pass : The room was filled with smoke.
3. Ac : Panic seized the writer.
Pas : The writer was seized with panic.
4. Ac : He satisfied me.
Pas : I was satisfied with him.
5. Ac : The beauty of the girl marvelled me.
Pas : I was marvelled at the beauty of the girl.
6. Ac : His father's death shocked me much.
Pas : I was much shocked at his father's death.
7. Ac : This book interested me much.
Pas : I was much interested in this book.
8. Ac : This book contains many important things.
Pas : Many important things are contained in this book.
9. Ac : He knew me.
Pas : I was known to him.
এবার এমন কিছু বাক্য লক্ষ্য করি যেগুলোতে উপরেরে নিয়ম অনুসারে with বসানোর কথা কিন্তু এক্ষেত্রে বসাতে হবে at কারন এইসব ক্ষেত্রে Subject এ behaviour / Conduct / Work ইত্তাদি থাকবে ।
Example :
1. Ac : His behaviour pleased me.
Pas : I was pleased at his behaviour.
2. Ac : His conduct annoyed me much.
Pas : I was much annoyed at his conduct.
3. Ac : His work displeased me.
Pas : I was displeased at his work.
উপরের ৩ টি উদাহরনে যথাক্রমে pleased, annoyed, এবং displeased Verb ব্যবহার হয়েছে । এই Verb ৩ টির সাথে by ব্যবহার করার কথা , কিন্তু ঐ ৩ টি Sentence এই Subject হিসেবে রয়েছে যথাক্রমে His behaviour, His conduct , His work তাহলে Subject হিসেবে behaviour, conduct , work থাকলে at বসাতে হবে ।
