A school magazine is an annual publication of the school mostly written and contributed by the students. Almost every well-established schools publish this kind of magazine. Teachers and students of the respective schools write in it. It contains poems, short stories, articles, jokes, riddles etc. A magazine committee is formed with the headmaster as the chairman . Three or four teachers help him as advisors. An experienced student is selected as editor. At first the editor invites writings from the students and the teachers for the magazine. Then the best ones are selected by the committee and sent them to the press for printing. It has great importance to the students. A school magazine helps the young learners to develop their latent skills. It also offers the learners opportunities to become a writer in future. A young learner really feels proud and happy when he finds his writings in the magazine. So every school should try to publish a school magazine every year and all the students should help the committee to publish it because it is very helpful for all the students. It is very effective for the nation.
